Telsa Powerwall 3 is now available

The Tesla Powerwall 3 is available to homes across the South from August 2024 and represents a significant upgrade to the incredibly successful Powerwall 2. Improvements include:

• Power output has now doubled to 11.04 kW
• Includes an integrated solar inverter
• Sleek new design, allowing easy future expansion

The Powerwall 3’s ability to power homes when the sun doesn’t shine enables clean energy to be accessible to all during the daytime and overnight.

At Infinity Energy Services, we are proud to be a Premium Installer of the Tesla Powerwall. Hundreds of our solar customers are already benefitting from the earlier Tesla Powerwall models, so we are delighted to announce the launch of the new Tesla Powerwall 3.

The Powerwall 3 is the latest iteration of the ultimate solar battery storage system, and we look forward to installing these systems for our customers from August 2024 onwards.

Benefits of the Tesla Powerwall 3:

1. Home Backup Power – the Tesla Powerwall can be used as backup protection during power cuts, so when electricity from the national grid goes down, your power stays on as normal.
2. Reduced Reliance on the Grid – having a battery solution such as the Powerwall enables you to reduce your reliance on the grid by storing excess electricity produced by solar, rather than sending it back to the grid.
3. Unlock Cheaper Electricity Tariffs – having a Powerwall 3 unlocks cheap electricity charging tariffs for your home. You can enjoy cheap off-peak tariffs to top up the Powerwall’s capacity overnight.
4. Allows Solar to be Stored Directly – by featuring an integrated solar inverter, the Powerwall 3 allows solar to be connected directly (DC coupled) and stored for high levels of efficiency. Electricity can then be converted to AC for when needed in the home. This improves the overall storage efficiency from 90% to 97.5%, giving you much more energy to use at home.
5. Flexible Charging Solution – the Powerwall 3 has a high level of flexibility meaning it can be added to an existing solar PV system or installed on its own, just like its predecessor, Powerwall 2.
6. Monitor Your Energy System – by using the Tesla app, you can manage your energy flow by using the Tesla app. This gives you more knowledge, control, and confidence about how much electricity you’re storing and using, and how much you can save on your electricity bills.
7. Maximum Durability – with cell level heating from -20oC to 50oC and its floor-resistant capabilities, the Powerwall 3 is so durable that it can be installed indoors or outdoors without any effect to its long-term battery capacity.
8. Long-term Warranty – the Powerwall 3 is covered by a comprehensive 10-year warranty. This is down to its improved reliability and fewer points of failure. This gives you confidence that the Powerwall 3 is a sound investment for your home.
