What’s the best inverter to connect your panels up to? It depends on your situation. To determine what’s appropriate for you, we ask the following two questions:
- Does your roof suffer from shading?
- Do you want advanced monitoring – to be able to see how each panel is performing in detail?

Whereas solar panels are very robust and rarely fail, the inverter does all the electrical heavy-lifting and will probably stop working at some point. So it’s worth thinking carefully about how long your inverter warranty is valid for. We always recommend a minimum of 10 years.
