Infinity Energy Services Wins Regional Solar PV Installer of the Year 2026
A Great Night at the South East Energy Efficiency Awards

Infinity Energy Services has been named Regional Solar PV Installer and Contractor of the Year 2026 at the South East Energy Efficiency Awards, in a category sponsored this year by Aran Insulation Ltd.
The Hampshire-based renewable energy specialist collected the trophy at a black-tie ceremony held at the Sofitel Gatwick Airport, Crawley, on Thursday 30 April 2026.
This is the third time in four years that the company has taken the prestigious regional title, following back-to-back wins at the same awards in 2023 and 2024, underlining its excellence across the South East renewable energy sector.

Three regional titles since 2023
The 2026 win means Infinity Energy Services has now been named Regional Solar PV Installer and Contractor of the Year three times in four years.
The company first claimed the South East regional title in July 2023, retained it in March 2024, and has now reclaimed it in April 2026.
In September 2023, Infinity Energy Services also placed second nationally at the National Solar PV Installer and Contractor of the Year Awards.
Founded by Daniel Hanslip in 2011, Infinity Energy Services has designed and installed thousands of residential and commercial solar PV, battery storage, heat pump and EV charging systems across Hampshire, Berkshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Surrey, West Sussex and the wider South East.

What the Energy Efficiency Awards judges look for
The Regional Solar PV Installer and Contractor of the Year award is one of the most closely contested categories at the Energy Efficiency Awards.
It recognises one exceptional company in each region that installs, repairs or maintains solar photovoltaic systems and demonstrates a high standard of quality workmanship and customer service.
To be eligible, nominees must be registered with at least one of MCS, Ofgem, TrustMark, BPVA, REA, STA or NFRC, and every engineer working on the company’s solar systems must be fully qualified or a registered apprentice working under supervision.
Judges assess the nature, scale and scope of completed projects, the integration of national and local energy efficiency schemes, customer testimonials, community impact and depth of technical expertise.

Daniel Hanslip on the 2026 win
Daniel Hanslip, Managing Director at Infinity Energy Services, said:
“Winning Regional Solar PV Installer and Contractor of the Year for a third time is a huge moment for everyone at Infinity Energy Services. Awards like this are not won by management or marketing – they are won by the engineers, designers, surveyors and office colleagues who turn up every day determined to do the job properly for our customers.
The judges look closely at quality of workmanship, technical expertise, customer testimonials and community impact, so to come out on top in 2026 – two years on from our last win in this category – is a tremendous endorsement of the way the team works.
Solar and battery storage will define how UK households manage their energy costs over the next decade, and we are more committed than ever to making sure every system we install delivers exactly what our customers were promised.”

What independent recognition means for Infinity Energy Services customers
Choosing a solar PV and battery storage installer is a long-term decision. Most systems are designed to perform for 25 years or more, and homeowners and businesses are right to look for clear, independent evidence that an installer will deliver on what was promised – not just at the point of sale, but through commissioning, handover, monitoring and aftercare.
That is precisely what the Energy Efficiency Awards process is designed to test. To win at regional level, a solar installer has to evidence the technical quality of completed projects, demonstrate that every engineer is fully qualified or a registered apprentice working under supervision, show how customer testimonials and community impact stack up, and prove successful integration of national and local energy efficiency schemes such as the Smart Export Guarantee and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme. The judging panel is deliberately rigorous, and the criteria are set to surface installers that consistently get the basics right on real-world projects.
For anyone considering solar panels, battery storage, a heat pump or an EV charger in 2026, three regional wins in four years is one of the strongest independent signals available that Infinity Energy Services can be trusted with an investment of this size. It sits alongside MCS certification, RECC membership, NICEIC and NAPIT registration, TrustMark accreditation and CHAS compliance, Tesla Powerwall Premium Installer status and SunPower Elite Partner status – and over 6,500 installations completed across the south of England since 2011.
