OVER £7,500 A YEAR SAVING THROUGH SOLAR PV FOR MARITIME AGENCY, SOUTHAMPTON
In line with objectives of their Dover-based operation, The Maritime and Coastguard Agency in Southampton, Hampshire, wanted to meet its Greening Government Commitments by installing solar panels for its future electricity needs. Infinity Energy Services was selected to design and install a Solar PV system which would considerably reduce the Agency’s greenhouse gas emissions.
THE SYSTEM – A BRIEF OVERVIEW
Following a site visit and detailed survey, Infinity Energy Services gained a clear understanding of the customer’s objectives. They installed a Solar Panel system using 270W poly-crystalline panels which come with a 12 year product warranty and a 25 year performance guarantee.
These panels have been awarded Tier 1 status by Bloomberg Energy Finance, the highest ranking possible, which provides customers with confidence in their quality and long term performance.
THE SOLUTION PROVIDES MAXIMUM LONG TERM PERFORMANCE
The Solar PV installation met the customer’s objectives of choosing a greener energy source and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The solution was a great example of an efficient system that offers an excellent Return on Investment (ROI), which was also critical to this installation.
