SOLAR PV, BATTERY STORAGE AND HEAT PUMP… AN INTEGRATED SOLUTION
Mr Cooke in Warsash, Hampshire wanted to become more self-sufficient through the use of renewable energy.
After seeing the extensive energy cost savings that could be achieved following our home visit and detailed survey, Mr Cooke instructed Infinity Energy Services to install a Solar PV system together with Solar Battery Storage and an Air Source Heat Pump.
THE SYSTEM – A BRIEF OVERVIEW
We installed a Solar PV system together with a Tesla Powerwall battery storage, enabling Mr Cooke to store the energy created and deliver it to him whenever he needs it, day or night.
We also installed the latest generation of Samsung’s air-to-water heat pumps, the EHS (Generation 6) combining low operating costs and a competitive price.
INSTALLING THE SYSTEM ACHIEVED A TOTAL COST SAVING OF £2661.30
Following a year’s usage, Mr Cooke was more than pleased to share his actual savings with Solar PV compared with the previous year of gas and electricity usage through EDF.
Mr Cooke also commented that because of the rising energy prices, the savings made now would be even greater than before, reducing the payback of the entire system from 9 years to just over 6 years.

HOW THE PROJECT CAME TOGETHER AND WHAT IT DELIVERED
Fully bespoke designs informed MR Cooke of all his potential energy savings before any commitment was made.
The addition of a Tesla Powerwall enables Mr Cooke to store the energy his system generates and use it anytime he wants - day or night.
Installation was straightforward and quick. The Heat Pump was installed, fully tested,and operational within 48 hrs.
Thanks to the Solar PV, TESLA Powerwall and Samsung ASHP installation, Mr Cooke has already made excellent energy savings in his first year. Plus. with ever increasing energy prices, the entire system will be paid back much earlier than originally expected.
